DHP Scotland Ltd offers free training courses for eligible participants who are currently on benefits.
We currently run the courses in the following areas:
Ayrshire; Borders; Dunbartonshire; Edinburgh & Lothian; Forth Valley and Glasgow
The courses are designed to help you explore self-employment options. A special feature on offer is that you will not lose out on your benefits but will:
- Through weekly meetings get advice and support from your business advisor
- Gain an understanding of marketing, book-keeping and basic taxation through specifically designed modules
- Be given the opportunity to try out your business idea for a limited period of time
